Eminent personalities from the corporate world share their valuable experiences at the events organized by the senior students. The various games and activities help the freshers to develop the required perspective under the able guidance of the faculty and the seniors.

Students admitted to the first year of the Management program are from different streams. For the smooth integration of students in the Management Program, regular counselling sessions are arranged for the fresh students. Senior members of the Institute look after this activity. Every attempt is made to see that students feel confident and fully secure.

GBS firmly believes that one must be a good human being first, a thorough professional next and finally a positive contributor to the society. In line with this philosophy, we undertake various activities, workshops and seminars. Such activities ingrain in our students the realization of their commitment to profession, home and society. Concepts like Time Management, Kaizen, Problem Solving Methods, Creativity, Transactional Analysis, Interpersonal Understanding, Team Work, Business Etiquettes, Leadership, Change Management, Interview & Group Discussion Techniques etc. are covered.

Communication has become one of the most important requirements in order to improve individual effectiveness. To improve this ability of students special workshops on all aspects of communication like effective speaking, writing, listening, making presentation, participating in meeting, etc are held.

Spirituality has acquired a great significance in effectiveness and happiness of an individual. Students at GBS are systematically introduced to Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation, etc. They will attend specially organized spiritual sessions where they could interact with distinguished spiritual leaders.

In order to enhance students' skills and abilities, practical exposure is provided through field visits, study tours, etc. These will help the students to come in direct contact with the people working in the industry and get proper prospective of the various activities and the problems faced in the industry.

Guest Lectures are held regularly by inviting corporate leaders, top executives and academicians to enhance the knowledge of the students. The main purpose of such seminars is to continuously interact with the practising executives.

Corporate Seminars are organized to facilitate interaction of students with corporate managers and benefit from their knowledge and experience. They give opportunity to the students to develop their planning and organizational acumen. The seminars also expose the students to potential employers who can asses the students' knowledge and maturity levels. The themes of the seminars are contemporary and innovative.

GBS encourages students to take part in various intercollegiate events organized by different institutes in Pune. The participation and achievements are recognized.
